Cup Win for U16 Girls!

There was success for Harrogate Town's U16 Girls on Saturday when they lifted the Harrogate & District League Cup.

A super goal from Lucy Wood, who also saw another fine effort hit the crossbar, won the Cup for Town against Killinghall Nomads.

The match was played at a very fast pace in the heat, and the girls never stopped running giving 100%.

Manager Liz Heard said after the match:

"They deserved the win.

"The most important thing is that they worked as a team."

Anyone wishing to be a part of Harrogate Town's successful U16 and U17 Girls set-up next season are invited to pop down to training at Harrogate College held on Thursday's at 6.00pm. New members would be most welcome.
