21 April 2004
Match Report: Runcorn FC Halton 4 - 1 Harrogate Town by Brian Russell

The final scoreline was, perhaps, a little of an unfair reflection on the territorial and ball possession share overall.

Town went into this game with very limited selection options.

10 March 2004
Match Report: Alfreton Town 2 - 0 Harrogate Town by Brian Russell

Town's disappointing run continues. The legendary curse of winning the Unibond Club of the Month still seems to prevail.

8 March 2004
Match Report: Workington 4 aet 4 Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town's final chance of cup glory this season disappeared in the Cumbria hills on Saturday when they were knocked out of the Unibond League's President's Cup semi final by, and not for the first time this season, a club from the Unibond League First Division.

8 February 2004
Match Report: Harrogate Town 0 - 1 Lancaster City by Kevin Motley

Club officials had hoped that the jinx that accompanied teams winning the "Team of the Month" award wouldn't hit Harrogate Town, but it duly swept in with the strong wind to send the Wetherby Road side to only their second home defeat of the season, against a hard working Lancaster City side, also winners at Wetherby Road last season.

24 January 2004
Match Report: Bridlington Town 0 - 3 Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

It took three late goals to finally end Bridlington Town's plucky resistance in this President's Cup tie to ensure that John Reed's current side overcame one of his old one's, and now all at Harrogate Town will have their fingers firmly crossed that they finally receive a home draw in the semi finals, which will also involve Barrow, Marine and Workington.

19 January 2004
Match Report: Harrogate Town 3 - 2 Vauxhall Motors by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town picked up their first ever win over Vauxhall Motors in the Unibond League, to keep up the pressure on the top two team teams but, despite the Motormen sitting only two places off the bottom of the table, they made Harrogate fight all the way to claim the three points.

11 January 2004
Match Report: Spennymoor United v Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Without doubt one of Harrogate Town's most convincing wins in the Premier Division, although probably not their best, but Town continued their pursuit of the Northern Premier League Championship by recording their highest score of the season against a luckless Spennymoor side up in the chilly North East.

7 January 2003
Match Report: Alfreton Town v Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town avoided a clean sweep of first round cup exits this season with an impressive victory at Alfreton Town on Tuesday evening.

14 December 2003
Match Report: Harrogate Town 2 - 1 Ashton United by Kevin Motley

They may be making something of a pig's ear in the Cup Competitions this season, but in the league Harrogate Town continued their push for the Premier Division title with this latest victory, their sixth 2-1 win of the season, over a hard working Ashton United side at a wet and very windy Wetherby Road.

6 December 2003
Match Report: Marine 2 - 2 Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Now that their interest in the FA National Competitions has ended for another year, Harrogate Town turned their attention back to the Unibond League and their main target this season - a place in the new Conference North.

3 December 2003
Match Report: Barrow 4 - 2 Harrogate Town by Brian Russell

Both teams used the same starting line-up as in the first encounter on Saturday.

30 November 2003
Match Report: Harrogate Town 2 - 2 Barrow by Kevin Motley

All in all this was a cracking cup-tie, with thrills and controversy all the way to the final whistle. But although both sides meet again in the replay on Tuesday evening, up in Cumbria, Harrogate Town will count themselves rather fortunate to be still in the FA Trophy.

23 November 2003
Match Report: Harrogate Town 3 - 1 Southport by Kevin Motley

John Reed was looking for something special from his Harrogate Town side following their poor midweek Challenge Cup exit at first division Guiseley, and the players responded magnificently by putting out a five star performance against former Football League side Southport at Wetherby Road.

20 November 2003
Match Report: Guiseley 2 - 1 Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Although Guiseley pulled off what on paper will be recorded as a cup upset, it is doubtful as whether Harrogate Town will be bothered too much about the result as much as the forthcoming suspensions to players Marc Smith and Scott Bonsall, who were both sent off by referee Neil Wheeler for their part in the fracas which took place between both sets of players, after the final whistle.

13 November 2003
Match Report: Worksop Town 1 - 0 Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

This was a match had both managers purring with delight afterwards, even more so Worksop Manager Steve Ludlam, after his side snatched victory with a last minute goal to maintain their challenge on the Unibond League title.

9 November 2003
Match Report: Harrogate Town 2 - 1 Burscough by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town gained revenge for their opening day defeat by Burscough with this latest league victory, their third 2-1 win in a row. But of those victories, this one at Wetherby Road was definitely the hardest one, as their lowly placed visitors made John Reed's side fight all the way to the final whistle.

26 October 2003
Match Report: Barrow 1 - 2 Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Fourth place Harrogate Town kept up their 100% league record over third placed Barrow on Saturday, with a magnificent 2-1 victory up in Cumbria, thanks to a brace from striker Marc Smith, who was starting his first full game for over a month.

19 October 2003
Match Report: Harrogate Town 4 - 4 Droylsden by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town and Droylsden fought out their customary 'draw' at Wetherby Road on Saturday afternoon, sharing 8 goals in this Roses thriller, but both managers were upset, to say the least, over the performance of referee Richard Salt, over the penalties he gave - and those he didn't!

12 October 2003
Match Report: Harrogate Town 2 - 1 Frickley Athletic by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town manager John Reed warned Town supporters in his programme notes that they were no easy games at this level, and it proved correct in this match on Saturday as it took two goals in the final quarter of an hour to wrap up the points against 19th place Frickley Athletic, in this Yorkshire Derby.

6 October 2003
Match Report: Radcliffe Borough 3 - 1 Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town continued their away blues, or should that be 'purples', by recording their 4th league defeat out of 6 matches played away from Wetherby Road this season, this time against a Radcliffe Borough side who had come into this match on the back of 4 successive league defeats, 3 of them at home.

18 September 2003
Match Report: Gainsborough Trinity v Harrogate Town by Kevin Motley

Two sloppy pieces of defending in Lincolnshire saw Harrogate fall to their third league defeat of the season on Tuesday evening, although this defeat won't worry manager John Reed as much as the addition of Mark Ford and Colin Hunter to his ever growing injury list, along with the forthcoming suspension to striker Marc Smith, who was sent off on the hour.

14 September 2003
Match Report: Harrogate Town v Runcorn FC Halton by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town moved into second place in the table with their first draw of the season, against a useful looking Runcorn side that, prior to this match, boasted a 100% away record following impressive wins at Worksop Town and Southport.

Match Report: Harrogate Town v Altrincham by Kevin Motley

Harrogate Town brought a run of four successive home games to an end on Saturday with their third win of the current campaign, defeating a previously unbeaten Altrincham side in a good battle of the Roses, in which two players ended up being taken to hospital.
