A reliable and solid central defender. Former club captain and player of the year who made a welcome return to Harrogate Town in June 2009. Simon originally signed for Harrogate Town in July 2002 from Pickering Town and had previously also played for Tadcaster Albion, Rowntrees and Glasshoughton Welfare. He moved on to Droylsden in July 2005 and also had spells at Guiseley and Eastwood Town prior to returning to Wetherby Road.
